What Givvent is
Givvent is a fundraising platform for two kinds of giving: personal campaigns started by everyday people, and donations to registered nonprofits. In both, donors see exactly what a donation is split into before they confirm, and organizers are paid out through Stripe. Starting a campaign is free. Fees only ever come out of donations.

How we make money
Honesty about our own price is part of the product.
Givvent makes money one way: a 2.5% platform fee on each donation. Payment processing is the standard Stripe rate of 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction, the same rate you would pay anywhere online. There are no subscriptions and no upfront costs. Donors can choose to cover the fees so 100% of their gift reaches the campaign.
