Fees from an organizer’s perspective

Starting and running a campaign is free, and Givvent’s platform fee is 0%: we take nothing from your donations. The only per-donation cost is Stripe’s processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30, and it comes out of a gift only when the donor doesn’t cover it at checkout.
In practice most donations arrive whole: the "cover the costs" option at checkout is on by default, and when a donor keeps it checked, the processing cost is added to their charge instead of deducted from your campaign. You receive the full intended amount. Tips donors leave for Givvent are always separate and never touch your money.
Your organizer dashboard shows both numbers for every donation, what the donor gave and what you received, so reconciling against your bank statement is straightforward.
